Fantastic restaurant. Really easy to reserve a table online and a fantastic view from the restaurant over the bay. We had a great selection of whisky to choose from, with a detailed guidebook explaining each option. We really enjoyed sipping various whiskeys and comparing notes whilst waiting for lunch - a throughly good past-time! Lunch was excellent too, as was the customer service.
This hotel is the epitome of hospitality! The rooms were luxurious - I loved the shower - and the staff went above and beyond every day to make our stay there comfortable. They really take care with the breakfast as well! I've never had more delicious porridge! Before this stay I never would have thought porridge could be so memorable! The view from the dining room was spectacular morning and night. We had dinner there one evening and it was a delight as well. The menu had a lot of variety and all of the dishes we had were wonderful. While staying on Islay this hotel was our cozy little oasis and I can't recommend it enough!
Our room was spacious, lovely and well appointed. The private bathroom was fully modern and updated. On the 3rd floor, we had great views of the harbor. Dinner in the hotel was excellent as well. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We were very pleased with the accommodation.
Creative, tasty and original dishes at a fair price. Excellent service and a good atmosphere. Great, fresh ingredients. We would certainly come back here for food and beers. The staff here are very friendly, attentive and professional - this is clearly a very well run establishment. The only reason I haven't awarded 5 stars is that we were disappointed to see how inflated the whisky prices have become. But everything else was absolutely excellent in both the bar and the restaurant.
Stayed at this hotel for three nights and we could not be happier! The rooms are very modernly decorated and warm in the cold November weather. The service deserves five stars on it own! The restaurant is great with modern food and felt very genuine.
We went there for lunch as we were so hungry after coming off the ferry. This is a real hidden gem! The food was simply fantastic! Well, if this is not gonna be a 5 star soon the I don't know! The service was excellent and the view stunning (although it was raining, we did see the shore). The lobby is my favourite spot - look at how cosy it is including the wee fire place. My heart melts...
Arrived for a meal after a day of cycling. Absolutely fantastic, full credit to the chef(s) and waiting staff. Really lovely feel and friendly atmosphere. I don't often leave reviews, but just felt I had to in this case!
Rooms were of a high standard and location is right in the centre of Bowmore. The meals at night were really good and the fish dishes were excellent. The service I received by the people here was second to none, they went out of their way to make sure we had a great time.
Nice place to have a Lite Bite. Smaller dinner menu between noon and supper time. Good value and decent portion size. The sandwiches and chips we had were excellent and the staff was great. Michelin starred so expect a good experience!
We visited as part of a weekend on Islay and this was our first dinner and what a wonderful evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with beautifully cooked local food, with Oysters and scallops, along with other amazing food. The setting with the view over the harbour and across to Port Charlotte. More photos to come
